Our automated collection system improves efficiency and keeps costs in check. Automation also makes handling household trash easy, neat and hassle-free for our residential customers. Automated trucks have a mechanical arm that wraps around a trash cart and empties the cart’s contents into the top of the truck.

Allied Waste of Albany-Lebanon is your local waste collection service. We maximize resources as a part of our commitment to excellence and take pride in providing the most efficient service possible. In order to assist us please follow the simple instructions below:
- Place carts at the curb by 6:00 a.m.
- Place cart approximately 10 feet behind vehicles
- Place cart approximately 6 feet in front of vehicles
- Place cart approximately 4 feet from other objects like mail boxes, other carts, poles and planters
- Place with the handle toward the house so the cart opens toward the street
- Be sure that the cart is not overloaded and that the lid closes.
( We can pick up “extras” for a nominal fee. Call the office to get rates for extra pick ups.)
Please DO NOT place these items in your cart:
- Ashes
- Liquids
- Hazardous Waste including motor oil, paint, solvents, etc.
- Large tree limbs or trimmings that do not allow the cart lid to close.
- Concrete, dirt or plaster over 150 lbs total.
- Appliances or furniture that will not allow the cart lid to close.
Periodically, a cart is placed so that we are not able to empty it. Should there be an issue with the placement of your cart, your driver may leave a tag explaining the problem, place the cart in the correct location or call the office to alert them of the problem.
